The staff are extremely uninterested in their jobs, the Sunday lunch is served with blatant frozen veggies but the gravy was ok.... Not for me sorry

I came here for Sunday lunch two weeks ago with my wife Belinda and was shocked by the poor service! The staff laughed at me when I asked why there was a 90 minute wait! Wouldn't recommend! 1 Dave!

Nice pub and restaurant between Rogerstone and Cwmbran. Appears to be quite popular. The management team are always very friendly and accommodating The food is fairly simple but well presented and generous in portion size Good place to go for an acceptable pub meal

Just called in for a pint and a meal whilst driving home to Oxfordshire - to be honest it was mediocre at best! Nothing special at all.

The Castell-y-Bwch is a traditional family run pub offering good bar food at reasonable prices. we also pride ourselves on our choice of real ales changed weekly. this pub is a little gem far from the jungle of supper pubs. log fires, beams and a lot more.
