This lunch was a big family reunion and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Would certainly recommend this friendly pub to anyone.

I always visit this pub for drinks and sometimes for food also! It's such a lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. It's definitely one of favourites pubs in Cwmbran if not my favourite. The food is also stunning but I do wish there were more...More

Have been here a few times for lunch during the last 4 months. Have always had good service and food. Reasonably priced too. Will be going back again.

Called in here off the cuff on a Monday, there was one bar staff and one cook, took 5 minutes to get served, then 25+ minutes for food which was only average, don't think we'll be rushing back

Fairly standard pub grub, all ok, if a little greasy. Very tasty garlic mushrooms starter. One large party had just left, not many tables in use when we were there, which is how I like it. But two old work colleagues were there, terrific.

It's like being a figment of your own imagination trying to get served in this dirty hovel, bar staff just stand there doing absolutely zero and barely utter a grunt when spoken to, very clicky too, they only seem to want to serve those who...More

I seem to recall some vegetarian options. However the menu is not at all inspiring. Presentation is always key to running an establishment, with the tatty folded corners of the menus delivered on "clipboards", I wish I had... More
