The Schooner is an independent gastropub nestled on the Sussex shoreline between Hove & Shoreham, offering locally sourced meats, fish & seafood. Situated in an 18th Century building with a warm welcome, real fires and stunning panoramic views overlooking Lady Bee Marina & the harbour it's a wonderful place to spend the evening or enjoy lunch. Private dining is available downstairs for business events and special occasions like Baby Showers, Birthdays and Anniversaries. For something different we offer an Afternoon Tea menu as an option for private events. The Schooner holds a weekly quiz to test your brain and we also hold regular themed night events aside from key calendar events like Christmas,

The women behind the bar on tuesaday 5th february was so unfriendly.all the customers seemed feed up which is bad for a bad.i would totally avoid this place even the food looked terrible.

Booked for Sunday lunch as my sister was visiting from Edinburgh. Food was delicious, service friendly and efficient. Our table gave us good views over the canal basin, which was busy with sailing training. Everyone felt it had been a lovely meal and good value.
