While on a recently cruise on the Jewel of the Seas, our concierge recommended Hemingway's after my wife inquired about the best place for lobster during our visit. A reservation was made for us from the ship. Needless to say, my wife loves lobster and her grilled lobster exceeded her expectations. My life is good when the wife finds good... More

Enjoyed a simply lunch at this 2nd floor pleasant breezy restaurant. Reminding me of New Orleans, hence the name Hemingway's. Anna the owner very accommodating in making adjustments to menu selection for the very plain eater among us. Would not expect a fast food timeline for lunch, as everything is made from scratch. Great desserts, maybe a little on the... More

Found this restaurant whilst just wandering around. Set at the back of town, away from the main crowded area. Seem to be welcoming so we gave it a try. Very nice atmosphere, pleasant seating area. Good menu . We enjoyed or visit.

This place was empty when I walked in(it was late for breakfast and early for lunch), but something smelled really good. The restaurant isn't flashy, but does have some nice local art on the walls and a view of the street below. The staff was very friendly. Turns out I was smelling the Jerk Chicken Wrap. That's what I ordered... More

On a cruise visit to Antigua, we decided to have a lazy day, exploring, shopping, and observing life in the Caribbean. There is no better place to do your observing than from the second floor balcony at Hemingway's. If you are thirsty, try a mango daiquiri and if you are hungry I recommend the conch fritters. The staff was very... More

Lunch, following a trek around an extremely hot St Johns, not helped by all the inmates of the many cruise ships that were in port. Upstairs, on the verandah, it was beautifully airy with a welcome breeze. A busy wee place.

We have been coming to Antigua now for 17 years, and have never missed a visit to Hemingways. Sitting out on the balcony watching the world just go by is a very special experience that we look forward to. A family run restaurant, it has always been very friendly.

We went twice for dinner during our recent stay on Antigua. It was good when we were here 2 years ago and its still good! Between us we had shrimp soup, a vegetable snack and conch fritters for starters; then flambéed prawns, curried fish and Jerk kingfish; followed by flambéed banana and flambéed pineapple. All of these were exceedingly good.... More

A gem just off the dock area of shops. The restaurant is on the second floor with tables on the porch overlooking the Quay and street. The food and drinks were delicious and the waitstaff attentive. Anna, the owner is a gracious hostess. Quite a pleasant experience.
