We had breakfast and it was all delicious. The service was great and the ambiance is very cozy. Perfect for a get together with family and friends.

After wandering through the streets of downtown for what seemed like forever we found this wonderful little Dutch restaurant. The building itself was very old but wonderfully restored and decorated in cool and soothing shades of white. I had the most delicious (and huge) dutch pancake topped with fresh pineapple and banana, drizzled in a traditional dutch syrup and sprinkled... More

Feel at home either eating a late breakfast or a late lunch with sweet light jazz playing in the background.

We have eaten breakfast a number of times at this gem that is located in downtown. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. We have always eaten in the interior which feels very European. The service is slow but good and the food has been good. There are Dutch options that we enjoy and would recommend that you try... More

We did not know which establishment would be open so we decided to drive around. When I saw that De Suikertuin was open I stopped right away. I have wanted to visit for the longest because I have been told the ambiance is nice and the food good. I must say, I really did like the place (bright and clean... More

We love to go and try all their specials. It's also a nice piece of Aruban history in an original Cunuku house and great food!

Our first full day on Aruba called for an easy morning and a pancake brunch at De Suikertuin. The charming old building, calm atmosphere, and helpful server provided a welcoming beginning to our vacation. As we were still figuring out the parking system, the staff helped with change for the parking machine. We ate pancakes - one with ham and... More

Description
We discovered this little gem of a cafe while on holidays in Aruba, gorgeous healthy food for very good value. Really worth a trip. It is located in the same street as the police station and El Gauchos. Breakfast and lunch from 8 am to 4pm..
