**Seasonally closed until late november 2021** The restaurant initially began as a wholesale distributor for the island's hotels and restaurants. Cooked takeaway service was added; along with a friendly free beer while you wait. Shortly after that the health inspector demanded we go the whole way or "wholesale only". This was around 1998. Long time friend and fellow musician with the local VSOP Jazz band "Stu Jenkins" became the resident artist (designer) and we named the up coming restaurant "LOBSTER ALIVE and all that Jazz". Absolutely fantastic food and great service despite no electricity after a hurricane. Certainly not the cheapest place on the island but if you enjoy lobster then worth every penny. Hard to beat sitting on the beach tucking into some fantastic food.

Great restaurant on the beach. Live Jazz band playing soft music. It was 11 of us and the staff handled it well. Waitress Donna was exceptional.

Very nice restaurant in great location in the beach and sea front. Sunday’s great for live music. It’s not cheap hence the 4 star. I wouldn’t bother with a starter and push straight to main!

No dealfor beach furniture but is cheaper than Boatyard. You can however get rum punch for $5BBD PER CUP which is from the restaurant, via the beach guy and is lovely
