This restaurant is right on the beach and the service was wonderful. They have a small jazz band that plays music during the evening. The rum drinks are very good

I have only seen such large Lobster in Boston, MA. US. Well worth the price and the price is reasonable. Must visit though on Carisle Beach.

Service was slow. The kids ordered more lemonade and we didn't get it until we were ready to leave. The food was pricey. It's right on the beach.

This was our first visit to Barbados and several hotel guests recommended this restaurant. Highly recommend you book a table to avoid disappointment as this is a very popular restaurant. There are several areas within the restaurant to book a table, beach, deck or inside....More

It was my husbands 70th birthday and we wanted a real treat for lunch and Lobster Alive pulled out all the stops. We were greeted warmly, the staff were brilliant and the lobster was, quite simply, gorgeous. 10 out of 10 !

lobster obviously dominates the menu, but there is also a catch of the day, Mahi Mahi when we visited - fabulously cooked, and steak. The crab cake starter was excellent, and better than the lobster spring roll alternative. The lobsters are huge - we had...More

Hi. Sorry for the late response. You can just have drinks, or use their snack menu. One of the major attractions is that it is a seaside restaurant, so many people might take in a seabath while in the area.

The restaurant initially began as a wholesale distributor for the island's hotels and restaurants. Cooked takeaway service was added; along with a friendly free beer while you wait. Shortly after that the health inspector demanded we go the whole way or "wholesale only". This was around 1998. Long time friend and fellow musician with the local VSOP Jazz band "Stu Jenkins" became the resident artist (designer) and we named the up coming restaurant "LOBSTER ALIVE and all that Jazz". We felt our way; with many of the usual restaurant mistakes. But it seems now, we have scored quite well with international critics, restaurant guide books; and our many repeat customers.
