A fabulous dining experience !

This is our first holiday in Barbados and a friend recommended Champers. We had one of our best dinners ever ! The food was amazing, the service was first class and we had a lovely table right on the edge overlooking the sea and the...bay. Everything couldn’t have been better ! We will be back in Barbados next year and will definitely be back here for another night out.More

Style and substance

There is little else to be said that other satisfied diners have not already confirmed. Champers is beautifully situated restaurant and is very stylish, with steel ‘rigging’ and wooden decking. It feels at times as if you are having lunch, while sailing on a small...luxury boat! We had a beautiful ocean-side table and enjoyed the (bargain) Sunday Lunch special menu - in particular the lamb shank and barracuda main courses. Drinks were generous and prices were reasonable too. The staff were most attentive and the table was quickly cleared of empty plates and glasses. We took a deliberate break before ordering the dessert course, as (for us) everything was by then moving just a little too quickly. It was no surprise that every table was taken but the ‘deck’ itself never felt crowded. Clearly one of the top restaurants on the Island.More

A very pleasant lunch

We went for lunch to celebrate my husbands birthday. I asked for a rail side table and was given one. It was an excellent experience. Easy to park, welcoming staff, lots of food choice, and the food we had, the shrimp curry (main) and bread...and butter pudding (dessert) was sublime. There is a great value fixed price lunch menu we’ve had previously but the curry isn’t on that. First rate customer service, attentive and friendly. We were given some nibbles to celebrate Independence Day and my husband was made a fuss of with a special commemorative menu and cake and candle. A lovely touch.More

Great experience

We had a meal for our 41st wedding anniversary. They surprised us with a personalised menu and an anniversary cake. The service was exceptional and staff very attentive.

Stunning location and great food

If you’re celebrating a special event let the restaurant know because they really do go out of their way to help you celebrate. We were there with local friends celebrating a 60th birthday. We were presented on arrival with a personalised birthday menu, which was...a lovely touch. We also had a lovely waterside table. Service was great as was the food. Beautiful nice dinner

A lovely birthday treat

We enjoyed a wonderful birthday celebration. I was made to feel very special from the greeting at the front reception to the personalized menu at our table. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. The food was very good and they accommodated a toddler...in a high chair. The cost for 4 adult meals and two cocktails was $318 USD.More

From the cordial greeting of the hostess till the dessert of knock your socks off best chocolate cake ever…. This waterview white table cloth restaurant hits the mark. My husband and I had the well thought out price fixed lunch menu with a range of...good choices . Each nicely portioned dish that we ordered : the coconut shrimp, crab crepe, fish catch, baby back ribs, bread pudding and the aforementioned chocolate cake met accurate menu description and recommendation of other Trip advisor foodies , and Elite travelers. Excellent ‘treat’ holiday dinner.

I went here after friends recommended a treat; it was a treat. I dined fine. I’m a vegetarian, which made for limited options, though I was happy with the choice & the food was cooked well. The sea view is lovely & I enjoyed watching...the moon (it was very unique). Staff were very nice, though there was a ‘posh restaurant’ vibe which made me feel they were only allowed to talk for so long & it wasn’t as ‘real’ as I’ve had in other Bajan bars restaurants; I prefer a real vibe but I’m not a posh person, so guess it’s probably catering for the majority of posh clients!!More
