Great location on the waterfront. Nice decor and ambiance. Service at the lunch hour fine, though not extraordinary. Do not go if you are in a hurry. It is a place for a leisurely lunch, not a fast bite. Four of us shared two of the cold fish tasting platters (advertised as being for two people), and they were excellent,... More

Lovely dinner right by the cruise ship dock! Great fish, great service! The Sea Bass special melted in your mouth with an explosion of flavor. Baked potato could have been cooked a bit more, but everything else was excellent!

Ok, but pricey. The food was a little heavy handed - way too much salt. Ordered sambas appetizer and it was basically shrimp swimming in oil, garlic and lots of salt. Meh.

We went to Rains fishes this year, because our family had gone on a fishing boat earlier in the day. They brought home quite a catch!! The boat owner sold the fish to the restaurant and the owner invited us to dinner. We had a fest for 11 people, fresh fish with all the trimmings!! It was so much fun,... More

On a recent cruise that spent a day in Bonaire, we had a wonderful morning riding horseback on swimming horses from Rancho Washikemba, and after the excursion, when we asked the owners for a recommendation for a good, local place to eat lunch, they suggested It Rains Fishes, and it was great! We had drinks while we waited for the... More

It Rains Fishes is right on the water. The food is superb. This restaurant is always top of our list when in Bonaire. I had the Catch of the day, Dorado and it was delicious. My husband had Fish Seafood Stew which he loved. Dinner fro two with drinks was $61.00.

Our group of four enjoyed a late dinner at this waterfront restaurant, located near the cruise ship pier. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the portions were right-sized, meaning they weren't particularly large, which happily left room for dessert. The restaurant prides itself on providing fresh-caught local fish, and it shows. The fish was clearly fresh, and well prepared... More
