Never had such a bad meal. Everything about this restaurant is aggressive. Music, light, bad architecture that destroys the wonderful colonial city.

We've been here for three days in a row. We soon realized that cocktails were the best in town (especially the canchanchara, simply perfect). We then came back another time to taste some very good rhum. It was during the last dinner in Trinidad though...that we were amazed by the quality of its cuisine, hard to find in Cuba. Dishes are tasty, crab a "la rintintin" is delicious. Staff is very friendly, view is amazing and theres even free wifi... What else? ;)More
Nice roof terrace for sunset. Quite cramped with live band playing. Had to share a table - no problem with this. Had a nice couple of beers then stood up to leave. Pounced on by band member for a rather enforced "contribution".When I gave a...tip I was then asked to be more generous. We had 2 cans of local Cristal beer ( 2 x 2 CUC) but were then billed for two imported beers with service added (5.50CUC). Not a lot of money I know, but left with a bad taste !More
Great band on the rooftop terrace with views down to the Plaza Major. Didn’t eat there but the mohitos were good and a great atmosphere.
Great view, great music, free wi-fi and hilarious drink shakers. We did not tried the food but what we saw looked and smelled great.
Best food I've had in Cuba. Spicy and diverse. Plus it has a wonderful rooftop terrace, for watching the sunset and enjoying live music
We just wanted a mojito at sunset on their rooftop bar. It was so amazing, the we stayed the whole evening. The live music was great. The mojitos and the food delicious.More

Trinidad is full of bars with live music, drinks and food. We only had a few drinks at El Rintintin and for us, a mojito is a mojito and there isn't really that much difference between pubs. What sets El Rintintin appart is their rooftop...terrace and their enjoyable band. Some bands in Cuba looks like they are bored and just running through the paces (which is understandable sometimes) but the the band at El Rintintin were dancing and really enjoying the life they gave to us and the other patrons. They did provide free Wifi, but we were not there to read internet but to enjoy the life. Go, relax and enjoy!More
Very good view over southside of Trinidad and to spot the ocean in the distance. Okay meal with caracteristic text Rin Tin Tin in paste on the plate - an thing to remember.More

The roof top is amazing and the band was so great. There is Free WiFi (which is sooo rare) and the food is simply great. I asked to waiter for recommendations and he is spot on. The Mojito is great and you just want to...stay there and enjoy the view.More
We like to take Trinidad first-timers here because the view is breathtaking and the live music is always top-notch. The food is always good. The meals are a bit more expensive than many locals restaurants, but it's still inexpensive by North American standards.
We visited 2 times during our stay in Trinidad. Both times were for drinks at sunset. The band is great up on the terrace and it really makes for a nice night. I can’t comment on the food but all of our drinks were really...goodMore
This place is the worst we eat at during all our journey. The prices were more expensive than any other restaurant in Cuba and the quality was very very poor... They add a 10% service but it does not go to the waitresses. They just...want to rob your money : they write the bottle of gas are 500mL, they are 330mL, we ordered chicken "a la diabla", which is with a special sauce, but just have a piece of chicken with no sauce at all, they did mistakes in the bill and did not give back the right amount of money... This restaurant just wants to rob your money. It doesn't try at all to make the best of Cuba as they say. We were really really disappointed : bad food, expensive prices, fake smile, atrocious music... It is a scam. I can't understand how they did to have a "certificate of excellence"... The only interest is the terrace but you have plenty of terraces in Trinidad. Better to avoid this place !!More
Cheaters!!!! They are lying about giving you a free wifi from the restaurant to get you inside. They promised to give us password to internet after we order our food. Every time they were saying us to wait still 5 minutes for the password and...in the end they told they don’t have it. The food is also not good. I had much better food in others restaurant in Trinidad. I don’t advise you this restaurant. In begin they were very friendly till when we told them we are not happy about the way they cheat, one of them became agressive and rude. Go better enjoy your time to other place in Trinidad. They are a lot of nice restaurants. Enjoy your time!More
The bar (and restaurant) placed on the rooftop terrace of the hostal of the same name did decent cocktails and had a selection of good rums, including the 12 years old Santiago. At night, live music was played. The views from the top were really...nice, and the service was professional and very friendly!More
