We went to this place on the recommendation of a friend and i wished he had told us about the long line that just grew longer with each passing second. Luckily for us we got there just before the line really got longer. TIP: Try to get there by 6 pm the latest so as to avoid the long wait.... More

Best thing; for the prices you pay you get huge portions! therefore think twice about ordering a starter or only the main course. the quality of the food is also good. they also offer several wines. the location is really nice, one of the most beautiful restaurants seen in havanna. I recommend there to go for dinner, it would be... More

I have been going to Havana for over 7 years. I will always go to Los Nardos for supper at lest twice a week. it is located across the street from the capitol building.Go early if you do not want to stand in line. Anytime after 6 o'clock the line starts forming. You can wait up to 45 minutes if... More

There are 3 places, but the man said they were all one kitchen. We arrived one night at 6:45 and were told it was a 45 minute wait, so we came back earlier the next night and were told 15 minutes. We were at the head of the line in about 5 minutes, then waited for 50 minutes, no explanation.... More

We went when there was no queue so guess we were lucky. There are three places to eat here so make sure you go to the correct one, Los Nardos is upstairs. We only ate an omlette each and had a beer but the menu seemed extensive. Quite dark inside.

When we saw one day the queue of people (locals and visitors)outside this restaurant, we thought it must be something special, so we went back a couple of nights later. Disappointing! OK, it's historic and atmospheric inside (but so are dozens of other restaurants in Havana), but the food was average at best. On the plus side, the waiters were... More

We went on a Sunday night but the line was too long, at least an hour wait, so we went back the following Thursday. The line was shorter and we were seated pretty fast. We were told that it's the same owner as Flor de Loto but we didn't enjoy it as much. My husband had the chicken soup appetizer... More

Pro tip: Go to Tropheo one level up for the exact same food (shared kitchen) at lower prices and no line. Huge servings and shady service.
