I was expecting just a touristic place with bad food or drinks and it was actually good. The best part, actually, was the atmosphere... thinking that Hemingway was there, that was nice :).

Fresh off the plane, after checking in to our casa we wnted to get out in town for an evening drink. We decided to keep it safe and head to Floridita to sample those infamous daiquiri. It was pretty busy but we found two stools at the bar straight away and didn't have to wait too long to catch the... More

We had heard about the signature daiquiris and I was excited to try some. We squeezed through massive tourist groups to sit at the sticky bar, where a bartender, Abel, was chatting to some ladies. He ignored us for a while, then we ordered two daiquiris, he acknowledged our order and went back to chatting. 15 minutes later, he had... More

Lots of atmosphere with singing entertainment. Prices not too bad. Everybody enjoying themselves with mojitos and other cocktails. Bars were like this in the 50's and 60's. Be prepared for a smoky atmosphere!! it's got to be a must visit.

This place is great for anyone who believes in getting ripped. Lousy and expensive drinks but nice music (and playing the night we were there)

There's a life-size statue of Hemingway sitting at the bar, which seems little changed from he he hung out there in the 1940s and 50s. It was crowded, mostly with tourists, all eager to experience the flavor of this venerable watering hole. The music was good and everybody in there seemed to be laughing and talking, a good indicator for... More

The bar is cute enough, but the cocktails are a crazy price, compared to the rest of the city. It was totally packed when we went there, so go and check it out for yourself. We did not eat there, but the restaurant looked great. You would have to book a table.

Ok if you are in Hemming-ways footsteps - mostly visited by tourists. The Daiquiris are better than the Mojitos!

For a place famous for its daiquiris, I've had far better better strawberry daiquiri on holiday in Kos. Couldn't taste the strawberry or rum but the bartender was kind enough to give us the bottle to add more
