Ate here whilst in Cuba in January. Food was quite good for Cuba and reasonably priced. Always busy when we walked past as well...

Big airy restaurant and very pleasant atmosphere but food quality quite inadequate. There are many other great restaurants in the area. Would not recommend.

While walking along Ciudad Vieja, Havana, Cuba, my wife and I encountered this restaurant, which had a nice open courtyard inside with dining tables around it. We sat down close to the entrance on chairs with shapes of letters used at a printing press (there the name of the restaurant). I ordered pasta with seafood and my wife ordered the... More

I visited La Imprenta twice in December, initially to see what the food was like with a view to book there for New Years Eve and then on the night itself as my first visit had been a success. An old print works, it has a nice atmosphere about it. On both occasions the food was very good, having local... More

There are few pleasant streets in Havana and this is located in the centre so if you could be dropped into this area you would see the nice city . The food was pleasant tasty with good service- children had chicken

Wished we discovered the place earlier and not the last day of our trip. Very surprised by the quality, the price and the attention put into the decoration: chairs and tables are block letters shaped. Live music is very enjoyable with a pianist playing from traditional Cuban classics to other refreshing references such as Edith Piaf, ABBA, Phil Collins etc.... More

Popped in for lunch after reading a good review in the latest (Nov '16) edition of the Rough Guide to Cuba (p126). Whilst the description of the building itself is spot-on, the remainder of the review is way off. The 'excellent-value tapas' had almost double in price and was terrible. Really terrible. Most of the assorted plate was sliced bread... More

My daughter and I read the menu outside and decided to go in about 3:00 in the afternoon for a snack and a drink. The menu offered tapas but as soon as we sat down we were told no tapas. I ordered a dish from the cold or hot entrees ( which I later realized meant appetizer) the waiter got... More

We ate 3 evening meals at this restaurant during our trip to Cuba and enjoyed them all. The staff were helpful and efficient, and the evening music was quiet and pleasant - unlike many restaurants in Old Havana. The seafood soup was especially delicious, and so was the flan for desert. La Imprenta is located in premises formerly used for... More

"La Imprenta" is located on Calle Mercaderes in an old former printing works and is a restaurant with style... Open and airy and with the central area an open courtyard, this restaurant is decorated with old printing machinery and has great ambiance. The food varies from sandwiches to more fancy food, and things like the grilled skewers are great for... More
