We loved the ambiance of this restaurant - looks like a ruin bar as the centre of the restaurant is open to the elements and there are wonderful old printing machines decorating the spaces. Food was pleasant and after a few weeks of food that was often the same (don't fancy any more ham and cheese sandwiches for lunch) it... More

Went for lunch one day, not in a rush which was lucky as took a while to get food. Did taste good though and good value. Chairs were wooden and quite uncomfortable so couldn't sit back and relax.

We had a good meal here, and the service was very efficient and friendly. However, the seats were so uncomfortable that we left as soon as we had finished our main course rather than ordering coffee and dessert.

This is kind of a go-to place when I'm around this part of the city in and around lunchtime. It's not the best restaurant in the city and chances are you're not going to rave about the food after eating here but for a state run restaurant (Habaguanex) it's not bad....and it's located steps away from one of my favourite... A modern restaurant in a converted printing works. Large internal courtyard garden and a lot of windows with views onto the street. Classy menu with regular Cuban favourites and extensive drinks list. Worth booking for dinner during the high season although walk-in lunch should not be a problem. May have to wait at the bar till a table is vacated.

Contrary to recent reviews I had a very nice experience at this restaurant. We popped in without knowing anything about the place for a late lunch. I had langoustine with some very tasty accompaniments. Perhaps a bit overcooked as another reviewer mentioned but still quite good. My husband had a simple chicken salad which was apparently underwhelming. I didn't taste... More

Food wasn't very good. All the fish, lobster were over cooked and the rest were cold. Service was ok......

The service was terrible, it took two attempts to get a drink from two different waiters who had no interest at all. The food took a very long time to come out & when it did it was not worth the wait, the cream of veg soup tasted of the tinned Heinz variety... The beans and chorizo however was good.... More

Havana restaurants seem to be either very pricey or very basic. This one is both reasonable and has amazing food. Can't recommend highly enough ..

A really good restaurant in an amazing building. The food is excellent and the portions are royal (if you are really hungry take the pasta, it's a mountain :-)). I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a good meal in Havana.
