We were at Lai Lai's last year when in Varadero and we were very pleasantly surprised at how great the food tasted. We are heading back in April and will be visiting Lai Lai a few times I imagine. Very good food and service. Highly recommended. Tye views of the ocean are superb in the dining room and the atmosphere... More

This place is great. Set back from the road in a beautiful historical building. The views of the ocean from the dining room are spectacular. The menu is varied and the prices are good. The food is really good, that said it is not exactly the Chinese food that you would get in Canada, but still really delicious. I would... More

My wife dropped by in the afternoon and reviewed the menu and she thought it looked promising. It is located in a historical building next to the beach. The detail in the architecture is just amazing. We went there and were promptly seated. The staff were very friendly and professional. I will not go in to detail but everything we... More

We tried several but all dishes were tasteless and served cold. The worst restaurant we have ever been.

Last thing I thought I would be eating in Cuba would be chinese food, but a friend I met at the resort said we had to go. So off we went, and I am so glad we did. So much food, and amazingly good. Their specialty is their "boats". A boat of food, and it's a big boat. We ordered... More

every time we go to Veradero we make a trip to lai lai. The food is quite good and the price is more than reasonable/ We meet with Cuban friends there and they really enjoy the outing.

We were very pleasantly surprised with the food here! I suggest that you try it out if you are looking for something different then the buffet at the hotel.

Cuba has a bad reputation when it comes to food, but this only applies to hotel food, they cater to a vast clientele and you cant please everyone all of the time, right? Now this is a an independent restaurant, the food is delicious, the only thing I wasn't crazy about was the wonton soup. egg rolls, but the egg... More
