My husband and I discovered this hidden gem quite by accident- but what a happy accident it was ! Who would imagine finding fresh, authentic, beautifully prepared Lebanese food in Santo Domingo ! We live three hours from the capital city - but we visit often, and this is a place we make a point of going to each time.... More

Baladi has been a favorite of ours for a couple of years. Wonderful owner/chef Imad is always there aiming to please regulars and newcomers. If you're looking for the real thing look no further. Real nice family run place husband in the kitchen and wife in the room always attentive and willing to accommodate.

I had lunch there last Sunday and had two types of Hummus (they had a Hummus festival this weekend) and a lamb burger. Their food is very homemade, well seasoned and always fresh. It's a family business and you'll feel that coziness in the ambient. Between my favorites plates are the rosted lamb leg with premium rice and almonds, Hummus... More

We wanted to try something different and when I read the reviews of this hidden source of good eats, we decided to try. After a long walk to find the place we got to the dead end street where this restaurant is located. Boy, am I glad to have found this place, I could easily become addicted to their food.... More

This is one of my favorite spots. The chef, also owner of the restaurant, is excellent. It's a family restaurant, where everyone in the family participates. Going here is like a quick and tasty trip to Libya. Their kafta burger is just perfect and any dish with lamb and rice and almonds. The tahini salad, lamb leg with rice, uncooked... More

We recently moved into this little neighborhood and one night just wanted to go out for something light and unpretentious. We asked the portero in our apartment house what he recommended, thinking he'd probably say some small inexpensive spot nearby. He said that Baladi was right around the corner and to say he was sending us. OK, what could we... More

Muy aunt and cousin tooke me to this restaurant on my birthday. The food is on point, great lebanese flavors all around. The hummus is delicious, wines are really good, the gyros are really tasteful and the desserts are fantastic.

We were invited to Baladi; the place is nice, they have mainly all kind of Lebanese food. Coming from Lebanon, I can say that we were enjoying food as we were at home. Service is excellent. Good portion of meals.

This well-hidden, unpretentious restaurant is a great place for Lebanese cuisine. They even serve lebanese beer. Try the lamb.
