The ambience was very romantic. We were surrounded by candle light and the ocean. The food was also top notch! During dinner we were treated to an acrobatic performance.

Dinner at the Grill at Round Hill the week before Thanksgiving on farm to table night. Restaurant was quiet and peaceful. Service was solicitous. The restaurant manager was a real pro -- warm and considerate and provided excellent hospitality. Location, atmosphere, and history somewhat trumps the food. But a cocktail in the art deco bar either pre or post-dinner is... More

Round hill is a premiere lodging destination, definitely a magical place where you feel at home. Not a huge all inclusive that makes you feel like you are in Vegas. The resort is rates 5 stars however make plans to dine elsewhere the only dining worth the price is breakfast. All other meals lacked flavor and excitement worthy of this... More

While visiting there for a wedding event, we did have time to experience all the food venues this hotel had to offer. We were extremely pleased with all of them and would recommend their dining facilities very highly.

Though everything is a la carte, we chose the optional platinum plan to avoid sticker shock, plus as a couple who like a drink or two it was a great choice.

We ate most meals at the resort and all the food was fabulous!! The only downside is the wine list but lots of Caribbean restaurants struggle with this.

The fish sanwiches are to die for. The rum punch is good and they are generous with the rum. I love Round Hill Feast night, when they serve an array of dishes, it's all so good. I wish I could taste everything. The ambiance is great and it's on the beach. I love it.... But bring mosquito spray....

I don't eat seafood, and I enjoyed every single meal at Round Hill. From the banana pancakes and fruit smoothies at breakfast, to the beachside bonfire barbeque on Monday nights-excellence throughout.

There is a Jamaican fare buffet on Friday nights and a beach BBQ on Monday nights each week. All of the food is amazing and super delicious. Great wine selection at the restaurants as well.

We stayed at Round Hill for 6 days. Enjoyed the meals here, though very expensive, but so tasty and fresh. Their "farm to table" theme was exactly right. Some nights were a hit or miss, but the buffet option was the best.

Description
The Grill at Round Hill is situated just above the main bar and terrace of Round Hill, offering beautiful ocean views and cool breezes. The decor is in keeping with the classic Round Hill aesthetic of relaxed luxury. With consulting direction from longtime resident Ralph Lauren, the whitewashed, simple decor is accented with local Jamaican art, adding a touch of the local and historic to the new restaurant space. The Grill features the only indoor pimento wood-fired grill in Jamaica. The wood imparts a touch of smoky richness and is used in a mixture of torched wood for earthy flavor and sweet wood to round out the finish. The kitchen is open, allowing guests a glimpse of the live-action grill. The farm-to-table menu is available every Thursday and Sunday night. Highlights from the farm-to-table menu include: Chigwell Farms jerked chicken, guava glazed slow roasted rosemary pork loin from farmer Theodore Williams, steamed Pedro Banks snapper in parchment paper and homemade scotch bonnet ice cream. The philosophy of the food at Round Hill is simple, locally-produced and sustainable.
