We were told by our tour guide that this was a place to go, so we stopped by for dessert. Man, am I glad we did! It was amazing! The flavors are varied, the place is impeccably spotless (they wipe the edges of their containers...between each customer, and the glass display windows during the service), the servers are patient and polite, even in a sea of cruise ship guests taking forever to make their selections. You get a large serving. I have a gluten allergy, and my server was immediately knowledgeable and able to tell me if my choices were gluten free. This is the best “ice cream” I have ever had, anywhere in the world. It was so good we went back again the next night. I will sing this place’s praises forever.More

San Juan is so hot 🥵 so going to Anita « la mamma del Gelato » was the best place to cool down . Very clean and busy but we did have a table . Definitely a place to go after a long walk 😎

If you are ever in old San Juan DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT GOING HERE . Amaaaaaaazing!! Staff is super friendly as well and the place is beautiful and very clean

Simply the best. I wanted to go everyday, but....the hips! A phenomenal variety of flavors and you can get one scoop split into two flavors. Generous portions! You can also request a sample of any flavor you want to try.

I happen to walk past this place and noticed the line out the door. I walked in just to look at what they offered and was hooked with the variety of flavors. At first I was thinking I was going to get the medium cup...but then saw how much they put in the small cup. I got two flavors that were amazing and boy do they load up that cup. I can't wait to go back here!More

Many flavours and great gelato. Fast service. Wifi available. There may be a line but it does go very fast, and it’s worth it!

The gelato here is next level delicious with a wonderful creamy texture and so many flavors to choose from. I was blown away by the biscuit cake flavor, and would 10/10 recommend getting it if they have it. It’s a bit pricey, but well worth...it.More

Wow, just wow. Amazing flavors, great service, and spotless. Came with family and friends for an evening out, and kept going back to the counter. Unbelievably excellent, highly recommend. (Long lines but they move fast, lots of servers.)
