Was delightfully surprised to finally try this restaurant and I wasn’t disappointed. Great service and local “farm fresh” foods (Organic Garden Salad: Not your plain lettuce, tomato, cucumber salad-- jam packed with much more and drizzled with ginger dressing) Service, attentive and personable. I’ll be back soon…. Reservations a must.

The food is excellent... I have visited this restaurant various time, whether on business or leisure. Everything I have ordered has always been on point. The creativeness of the chef is amazing. The staff is very knowledgeable of the food that is being served and are very friendly and accommodating.

The whole experience in Jaquita Baya is simply superior. The food is genuine, great tasting Puerto Rican, fresh local farm/sea to table and well presented. Casual experience with great old Salsa music in background, cool small bar with great cocktails and the waiter (believe his last name was Chevere had a beard) perfectly explained each dish. As a beginner, I... More

Very interesting dishes, local flavors, full of life, probably the restaurant I enjoyed the most on my visit to Puerto Rico. I didnt make a reservation but I didnt need it either. I had fried fish with root vegetable mash.

Our second visit here, really had to review. We had the King Snapper which had just come in a few hours ago - it was INCREDIBLE - as was the pork belly mofongo (best mofongo in San Juan). Everything was delicious - if you're in San Juan and want FRESH and DELICIOUS food - you must visit. It's not in... More

I had the opportunity to come to Jaquita Baya as part of an invitation to meet my family from NYC for dinner. I have heard a lot of good reviews about the place but never had the time to visit. I may have to say that this has been an amazing culinary experience that I will never forget. The food... More

This restaurant has very good food, but they are not cheap and the appetizers are very small - not large enough for a small meal. We really enjoyed the food but realized afterwards that we could have done just as well eating at our hotel's restaurant.
