This quaint restaurant looks nice until you get your bill. I was VERY disappointed in this place after I was told I had to pay $21 for scrambled eggs with cheese and tomatoes and a coffee. Now I understood where I was and you pay for ambience but when my friends had chicken and waffles and eggs and a coffee... More

We had a group of 18 for dinner at Pamela's as a kick off to our group cruise to the Caribbean islands of Barbados, St Lucia, Antigua, St Martin, St John, & St Thomas. All of us sat on the beach at a large table on a perfect night for dining on the water. The setting was beautiful with the... More

As others have said - restaurant on the beach. We had people coming at various times during the evening. The night we were there the weather was blustery and quite windy on the beach - so they had a marquee set up. Service was slow - but food was worth the wait, and we had no other place to go!... I love the food at this restaurant but even better is the friendly, professional and dedicated servers, specially David Alvarez , Victoria Gomez, and Jose Yglesias. . This divine trilology are the heart of this business but all the others are as good as well including Andrea Bonilla y Pedro Muriel. The elegant and beautiful owner Esther is always available.... This is the one of the only places in San Juan you can have a nice dinner with your feet on the sand. A hidden gem... you should make a reservation to dine on the beach. This is a nice restaurant, frequented mostly by locals (and some americans) that will give you a good "New Puerto Rican" dining experience. We... More

We dined on the beach! It was a beautiful night, there was a light breeze, the place wasn't at all packed. The food is delicious, very well plated. Service was average for our liking, we thought they were very slow. However, I believe it's probably excellent service by San Juan standards, because everywhere we went seemed very slow (long wait... We arrived in San Juan and wanted someplace on the way to our destination- just off the road a short distance. Pamela's had great reviews - we decided to try it. Inside a gated community and narrow streets with a lot of cars.... it was worth the trip! We arrived and were greeted and taken out to the beach with... More

Pamela's is literally on the beach. Chairs are in the sand. Great menu. Appetizers were top notch. Calamari and shrimp were awesome. The muscles were a bit spicy but for those who like the bite, were great. We shared a few entrees and were all very happy. Kids ran around and played in the sand. We would definitely go back.

Combination of very good food, excellent service, and magnificent view. Eating good food on the beach and listening to the ocean, what else can you wish for.

Eating at this restaurant is truly a different experience. It is located in a private guest house in a quiet neighborhood in San Juan. The restaurant sits directly on the beach making it very romantic! They serve great seafood, great drinks and a fantastic experience. This restaurant is one of the best we have eaten at in San Juan. Don't... More
