I'm always worried about pastries in Central America but this place does them right. Enjoyed a fried egg as well and their toast with butter was great. I'll be back this week.

Great pastries. Coffee not so great. Good vibe. There is also an ATM machine inside in case you need cash but you can use credit card if need too. Good music too and open early.

I always go the la Viequense for breakfast and sandwiches. Couldn't believe that they had renovated the facility. Looks much better, but the lines are still long. They only have one girl at the register and another girl cooking. But what the hell, it's Vieques and you re there to relax. If you are in a hurry, stay in Puerto... More

Very nice bakery, recently remodeled. Delicious sandwiches and pastries. However, the service is not good and they are very unorganized when it comes to taking orders, making food and having enough for all. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and think it may have been due to reopening after being closed and the holidays. However, both times... More

Went there every morning. The only place we found what you could say to be a local authentic panaderia. The food was delicious but kind of expensive for sandwiches. The staff is very nice and the place is very pretty. The service is kind of slow but worth it.

We stopped here for breakfast on December 26th. The place is packed with locals. The service is slow - so be prepared to wait for a while for your food. We ordered 3 different donuts and they were great. My wife had the vegetarian sandwich on cubano bread - which was fantastic. I had the omelet with 2 pieces of... More

When we arrived the decor was the first thing we noticed. It looks like it has been recently renovated and has an amazing vibe. Unfortunately, it was downhill from there. We were fourth in the queue, but somehow, people that came in after us got food and ate before we made it to the register. Some sort of local secret?... More

This is located in the heart of the town of Isabella. Remember that in Puerto Rico the bakeries also are like restaurants. We stopped in for a sandwich and had a great Cuban and picked up some pastries. All were delicious!
