I had the chicken and it was very average. On the pros it was done perfectly but the sauce was too bland. I tried my wife's salmon and it was very good. Finished with the key lime pie which was okay.

We ate at Sugar Cane twice on our trip. The chef has some creative dishes that create a memorable experience.

Our family of four ate here one night enjoying the setting sun and evening breezes, delicious menu items, and friendly service. We arrived on a week night before most others and got our pick of an outside table. We enjoyed the fish and chicken dinners we ordered. We splurged on desert and were not disappointed. The service was island casual... More

We had dinner here a couple times and it was very good. It was the low season so there weren't many people but the staff still gave us the full menu and cooked us a great meal ... best bet is to make a reservation.

Only ONE vegetarian option. Cold and windy (it's outdoors), so bring a jacket. The big emphasis is on booze, like everywhere else on Gorda. If you're not a drinker, like us, it's hard to find good places to eat.

We stayed in the resort and visited the restaurant nightly for drinks, desserts and appetizers. The place was really great, the staff was great and very attentive. The chef was very friendly and approachable. We ate dinner on the last night there and I regret no eating there sooner. The food was a 12 on a 1-10 scale. The price... More

We enjoyed dinner, cocktails and a beautiful sunset at Sugarcane. Great food included seafood pasta, chicken, ahi/Thai salad and a homemade burger. The service was fantastic! There is a pool at the restaurant which would be nice to enjoy during lunch time. Sugarcane is worth a visit for sure.
