Public Beach (northern part of 7 Mile Beach) is a large free beach area with lots of free parking, a bath house with toilets, and one place to eat & drink---Calico Jack's Bar and Grill. The main very informal open air restaurant and bar is upstairs from the very large outside area that is full of tables and people (who... More

We stopped by while walking on seven mile beach so that we could grab some drinks. We didn't order food but the orders that I saw had huge portions and looked great. That day seemed to be crowded and we didn't get any table service so we ordered our drinks at the bar. It was refreshing but what I remember... More

This place has been my "go to" place every time I visit Grand Cayman Island. Why? It has kept is laid back feel even after adding on space every other year. It has great food, great drinks, friendly service, and you can drag your lawn chair right out into the ocean! Love it!

Food was fair and we would not recommend dining here. Prices are not moderate ,very crowed when cruise ships are in port. Nothing exceptional

We were in Grand Cayman for one day on a cruise stop. Our family spent most of the day near Calico Jack's restaurant. We arrived fairly early, say 11am, so most of the picnic tables outside were available. Each of these tables had a large umbrella over it to provide some shade. We had lunch and several drinks. The pricing... More

The bar is on Seagrape beach just over 10 minutes from the cruise port. Taxi cost $5 per person, one way from the port side. The beach is long and narrow, but the bar was handy and busy selling beers from the Cayman Island brewery plus cocktails & food. Very relaxing and worth the trip.

This is just an average beach bar. We didn't eat here but people that did say the food is good. I was hoping to do some snorkelling near to the beach but it was too busy hence the water was cloudy and the fish scarce. We enjoyed the beach though, soaking up the January sun and people watching. The was... More

Great place to catch some rays or watch the sunset. Nothing fancy here. Definitely come as you are no need to dress up. We didn't eat here we just had drinks.
