Stopped here for drinks and to enjoy the beach. Great beach, and great views. Calm waters. Drinks were okay. Just average, actually. Service accommodating.

Most of the staff was rude. Chairs were disgusting. Ocean filled with seaweed snorkeling would be difficult I tried it.Bring extra towels just so you can double up on the disgusting chairs. You might be better off just using a towel on the beach.

Lion and Angela make a great Rum Punch and luncheon fare. Either ribs, chicken, fish or a combo of whatever you like. The cruise ship day trippers are a bit annoying on this beach but the water is great. Also rents beach chairs and umbrellas for $10/day.

We took a taxi from the cruise port and relaxed on the beach in front of the Lion Rock Bar and Grill. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. They charge a small fee for a chair with cover on the beach(as do rest other vendors in the area). The service was great and food is local cuisine and is... More

This place is the least touristy and the most chill of the 4-5 places on Cockleshell Beach. The beer is cheaper too. My husband and I split a chicken/shrimp platter and it was delicious (but not cheap). The people were so nice and the music was awesome. Beware of the guy with the monkey. He will offer to let you... The best beach bar on Cockleshell beach. Lion, the owner is very friendly and makes the best rum punch (Lion's punch) that we have had anywhere in the Caribbean. Be careful, or not, as they are very strong.

Thank gforddo
