If you are visiting Frederiksted don't forget to have lunch in Turtle's deli! Very tasty, juicy and BIG sandwiches at reasonable prices. You can have take away or eat on nice beach bar.

Open for coffee, croissants and lunch this place is terrific! The couple that owns the place are great. The breads are homemade as are the pastries. The marinate onions in a balsalmic vinegrette for sandwiches. The will pack your sandwhich to take to airport if you let them know.

We have been coming to St. Croix for about 11 years. We normally make it over to Frederiksted at least once while on island. Turtle's deli has great big over stuffed sandwiches. They are delicious. I have only eaten lunch at Turtles. Not sure if they do breakfast or dinner.

We have been eating here for years and it's always great and tastes the same. I always know my favorite sandwich will taste the same as the time before, this is a real issue here. They make their own bread and the owners are always there. The sandwiches are huge and I love being able to pick out my own... More

We got everything we asked for and more. These were huge sandwiches and loved the pickles. I recommend sharing one unless you are really hungry. Sit right next to the crashing waves while you eat.

Wow what a Rueben! Club style and good kraut. Stopped in with the Sweeney Tour and was already quite full which means better seating. You can move around a bit and have some personal space feet from the West side of St. Croix's, Friedrichstadt coastline. Definitely worth the money. Actually saved the Sammy for dinner, em,em. Good job guys and... More

Fredericksted, in the words of my Texas friends, appears to be rode hard and put up wet..... it has seen better days. As the cruise ships generally stop on the west end of the island, this sleepy town ironically keeps the east end pristine. As I was staying on a hill overlooking Teague Bay on the East End, I was... It's a deli so the sandwiches are not hot on a grill. But still are delicious, and HUGE. Wiht one sandwich believe me 2 person can eat and get satisfied. If you're a solo eater you'll be satisfied too. I love the view of the beach while you're eating.
