After a day of hiking in the surrounding we stumbled across this lovely Tea Room just in time for a much needed hot chocolate. The friendly staff, and lovely owner, allowed us to use their landline to call for out lift home (as our phone signal was nonexistent) and even stayed open so we didn't have to wait in the... More

Used to frequent the tea rooms often solely for the much talked about scones, but have not been for a couple of years. Not quite sure what has happened?!? It was a miserable cold day but I was looking forward to a warm welcome from Julie (I think) and a nice warm cuppa. Took a seat and waited patiently for... More

Literally THE BEST café I have been! I'd been on a long exhausting walk all day, very cold, wet and muddy. I was more than happy to sit outside so as to not dirty the place but I was welcomed with open arms like I'd been there every day. Food was spot on and exactly what was needed, albeit they... More

Called at the tea rooms as we often down when in the area, they have just re opened after the winter break. Nice and clean and tidy . Very welcoming and great after noon teas. Food is always good Would recommend calling in if near, its worth it.

Whilst traveling through the country side me and my family come across this lovely place so we decide to go in to see what it's like and we was not disappointed we were greeted by a lovely member of staff which offered us the menu my wife didn't even need to look at the menu as she saw the beautifully... Heard great things about this place but I'm afraid to say none of it is relevant to the present day. Me and my husband were passing and thought we would try it. First impressions were the lack of professionalism as the lady was smoking outside and then I witnessed her handling food without even washing her hands. We cancelled our... More

We followed the signs all the way up the valley, and were not disappointed. Warning: they close for the winter from 1st November, and we made it on the 28th October. We enjoyed our "Specials", a half-sandwich, a scone with jam and cream, and a Welsh cake - all home made. Good value and just the ticket.

Visited today for scones lemon cake and coffee cake. I love cake and I will admit to being a fussy so and so and I have high expectations I was sorely disappointed. The lemon cake was really dense and wet. The coffee cake was much better but the icing on both tasted like margarine not very nice at all. The... More
