We followed the signs all the way up the valley, and were not disappointed. Warning: they close for the winter from 1st November, and we made it on the 28th October. We enjoyed our "Specials", a half-sandwich, a scone with jam and cream, and a Welsh cake - all home made. Good value and just the ticket.

Visited today for scones lemon cake and coffee cake. I love cake and I will admit to being a fussy so and so and I have high expectations I was sorely disappointed. The lemon cake was really dense and wet. The coffee cake was much better but the icing on both tasted like margarine not very nice at all. The... More

Tucked away , and once found, you will revisit. Tea and cakes were a delight . Fresh scones and cake that were home made and served with a smile. Fabulous customer service and one could drink tea all day long here. So if you are in the area, well within 30 miles of this tea room, you should make the... More

We found this place through trip advisor and decided to take the 25 min drive to get there - beautiful scenic route with lots of places to stop on the way, we reached this gem hidden right away. The barn is lovely and a real tearoom - tea pots and tea cups and beautiful cakes! We went for the barn... More

Called in for a light lunch after a couple of hours on the Taff Trail. Very warm welcome and delicious home made food. Well priced. Highly recommended and well worth the short detour (200 yards) off the road. Good range of gluten free options. The,sort of place where nothing is too much trouble.

We stumbled across this lovely tearooms whilst driving around the brecon beacons. Ladies were very welcoming and cream tea was amazing, wonderful homemade scones 😊 We was worried that we didn't have enough money in us but the very trusting owners will let you do bank transfer once home as the don't have card machine.

This was our third visit after stumbling upon this little gem in its quiet location amongst the beautiful Welsh countryside. Every holiday in this area now has to incorporate a visit for their wonderful and reasonably priced cream tea, with fantastic scones and proper tea (with a strainer!). The quality really is top notch and when they made a mistake with... More

Stopped off on our way to Talybont on Usk for a refresher. Our dog was welcomed as were we, and the staff couldn't have been nicer. A lovely pot of tea and some extremely fresh Welsh cakes were our choice. The old barn is gorgeous and full of character and the service was swift and friendly. There is seating outside... More

Stopped here after a mornings walk in the Brecon Beacons. Great choice of teas and the cream tea was smashing. Sat outside watching the birds
