Let me tell you know this tea room is staffed by good old fashioned valley folk and they are just about as friendly as you can get. They will give you a beautiful smiling welcome and the service is top class as is their fare. Having had two of their monster scones, jam, cream and pot of tea I can... More

After doing the Pen Y Fan horseshoe on Saturday (1st April) we needed some good home made sustenance & a cuppa. We were made really welcome & the atmosphere inside was great, everyone enjoying their lunches. It was clearly a busy time of the day but the service was brilliant & staff were excellent. I've listed this as "cheap eats"... More

What an absolute delight and a Tea Room not to be missed!! We were out for the day in the Brecon Beacons and after some lovely country walks, were making our way home when we came across this wonderful establishment. The menu was so varied offering not only Sunday lunches, but freshly made sandwiches - which were very generously filled!!... More

We were recommended to come here for lunch and we're so glad that we followed the advice! Lovely setting with fantastic garden birds near out table. Really lucky with the weather but the staff were really welcoming, flexible and friendly. Food was great - really fresh & generous portions. Our boys were spoilt rotten and I hardly had to eat... Dropped in on Tuesday afternoon after a detour getting lost on the way to Talgarth. We arrived at the same time as a party of Royal Navy personnel on an exercise inn the Beacons! Not a sight you expect to see in a tea room! However, the tea was hot and strong, the coffee was lovely and our soup, sandwiches and... More

Dropped in late Weds afternoon after a spell of waterfall walking and the tea was hot and strong, the scones light, warm and fluffy and the atmosphere as soothing and serene as always. OK, so the jam isn't home made etc etc but overall this is an excellent café in a wonderful location that always hits the spot on a... More

I'd researched this lovely tea rooms before setting off on our weekend away and it was just what we needed after a very gusty hike up Pen-y-Fan. The welcome was very warm and inviting and they even stayed open late for us as we'd have some trouble getting to them. The cake and scones were delicious and the tea was... More

Wonderful afternoon tea with homade carrot soup, omelette and Welsh cakes to finish, superb.Pot of strong real tea, with leaves, not tea bags. The tea rooms are run by Linda, who obviously has years of experience in the trade, assisted by Carla. Both ladies give you a wonderful Welsh welcome in the hillsides (quite literally) as the tea rooms are situated in glorious countryside in the Brecon Beacons.... After a day of hiking in the surrounding we stumbled across this lovely Tea Room just in time for a much needed hot chocolate. The friendly staff, and lovely owner, allowed us to use their landline to call for out lift home (as our phone signal was nonexistent) and even stayed open so we didn't have to wait in the... More
