We were walking along Junkanoo Beach and Orlando showed us a menu. He was fun to talk to and was right that we needed to eat here. We ate conch fritters at four different restaurants and these were some of the best!

If you're like us, you look for good FRESH fish restaurants at every port.. to that end, Casa Del Mar at the Fish Fry in Nassau, Bahamas is a rare find. The cracked conch and grouper fingers are amazing. The conch fritters are fresh with huge pieces of conch inside. If your travels bring you to Nassau, make this place... More

We were met while walking from Junkanoo & Hilton by a man who steered us into this place. We watched him for several hours get victim after victim to come to this place. We were not hungry but S.O. wanted to visit the fort so I told him I'd wait there and have a beer while he walked up the... More

I cannot attests to the food inside the restaurant, but the conch salad (outside) is the best I have ever had. If you visit ask for Mario. Before I decided to try his conch salad, I walked up and down the strip and looked at how everyone was preparing the food and at their work station. Mario had the cleanest... More

We decided to go to Fish Fry after our snorkel guide suggested Frankie Bananas was where he liked to eat. We walked from the BC Hilton and were met by a pushy young man who insisted we eat here. He walked with us an we were going to go to our guides suggestion but they were closed. So we went... More

Tons of food, great prices and friendly staff. Conch fritters were huge, lightly battered and you get about ten for 3 bucks. Grouper fingers were fantastic. Swisha lemonade is good. The portions are huge so come hungry!

Food was pretty average after a fairly long wait (there was only one other couple in the restaurant.) Conch was pretty good but was served with some way undercooked potatoes. Drinks were actually quite good. When presented with the bill all looked in order except for one line item ($9'ish dollars) that had no description. I asked if that was... More

Popped in on our scooter rental day, had a fresh conch salad, tasted great! The burgers my family had, not awesome. Stick with a local dish here, you'll be much happier! Go with seafood, let the guy making your food prepare it for you the way he likes to make it, try something new. I was not disappointed, you won't... More

So we went for dinner last night, based on the reviews here. I'm not sure what everyone made a fuss about. The staff is friendly & the prices are cheap, but the food is disappointing. It was only semi- warm and was barely palatable. I would not waste my time or money if I were you. The owner of one... More

We were nearby and decided to go to the Fish Fry for a quick bite to eat and to let our son try conch fritters. Can't recommend Casa Del Mar enough. We were going to get the snack meal of conch as a quick lunch but ended up with the dinner as it came with two additional sides. The dinner... More
