Does what a pub is supposed to do, serves good beer, is friendly, is family and dog friendly (with a restaurant where dogs aren't allowed), serves very nice food. What more can a pub goer ask for. Thumbs up from me and the family 👍
Went with my family for a Sunday roast whilst on holiday. No children's menu and the food was less then average. Had prawn cocktails to start, these were nice but the roast was very disappointing. Green beans were grey from being over cooked and the...More
Been for a couple of teatime beers with my wife and was made most welcome. Just had an evening meal for three and couldn't fault it. Pub grub at a very reasonable price, well presented by a very pleasant and efficient lady. Would have no...More
Really friendly local pub with great food and made to feel very welcome indeed by the staff and the people of the community who I got chatting to.

This place is a must you’re visiting anywhere near Cardigan (or indeed St Dogmaels). A real little gem, locals pub, welcoming staff and amazing well priced food.
Promise you won’t be disappointed (nor hungry).

Called here yesterday for lunch after a recommendation from a local lady. When we saw cod had been added to yesterday’s specials that’s what we both ordered. We were exceptionally pleased with the obviously fresh fish in a thin crispy batter with nicely cooked chips,...More
We were staying in the village of St Dogmaels and called in here for a drink and maybe food.
The prices were reasonable and the locals really friendly the only down side was the bar person was quite rude and abrupt
