I normally plan everywhere we eat via trip advisor and if the reviews are bad then I will avoid. We fancied some chips and just popped into Bowen’s without planning, just wanting some chips. We live in London and were therefore surprised that the portion...More

Small portions , over priced , whoever thinks this is amazing clearly hasn’t got a good local fish shop! And j thought it was the Cardiff accent until I read other reviews the same ! Go to McDonald’s and have a happy meal it’s bigger...More

Ate our freshly cooked fish and chips looking at the boats in evening sunshine, enjoyed by our 4 year old and 19 month old grandsons as well as adults.

Great chips. Lovely scampi. All cooked fresh to order. Perfect portion size too. Not too much not too little. Highly recommended.

Great chip shop food, freshly cooked and really tasty. However, only 4* because it's quite pricey and the chip portions are small.

Excellent Fish and Chips with a facility to eat in meaning the food is straight out of the fryer and super fresh and hot

Chips were £2.30 a portion and in my local chippy for this price you would have got 5 times this many. Shop was clean and the owners friendly. The chips were of a reasonable standard it was a shame there were so few of them

I'm sorry but I don't know for sure, my guess is no. There is no mention of gluten free product on the menu on the wall as far as I can recall, and no segregated area for the cooked products, just one large heated tray. Hope... More
