Recently went here for dinner- cod and chips and one of their famous burgers and chips. Really tasty food in a stylish setting. Only down side was that in the night we both awoke a number of times with raging thirst- and a very strong salt taste in mouth- think that possibly there was too much salt in the meal... More

The Cambrian provides what at first glance reads like pub food with a bit extra, but it's a league ahead of your average pub. Prices jumped up considerably a couple of years ago but it's still good value. Careful if you think you can manage three courses - you might struggle! But they don't go for quantity over quality, it's... More

We called in on Saturday night and managed to get a table. We just had a main course, Chefs curry and fish pie, delicious. This is a brasserie style restaurant with a good "buzz". We shall return!

I have eaten here before and thoroughly enjoyed it, so there was no difficulty on selecting this place to eat during this visit to the locality. There has been a recent update to the decor, which continues to be very nice. The staff are very helpful and knowledgable about the food. I'm vegetarian and while I am aware there is... More

Ate here as a group a couple of weeks ago. Really lovely food and plenty of it too - garlic potatoes were delicious! Lovely atmosphere.

The food at the Cambrian does not fail to impress although I would prefer to see a choice of a 2 or 3 course lunch at a set price as it can work out very expensive paying for starters, mains and then dessert. A small hiccough so speedily rectified only adds to the very good review of this venue. The... More

We visited all the pub/restaurants during our stay in Solva over the New Year and I have to say that The Cambrian was easily our favourite. The service was friendly and attentive, the ambiance was nice, although the room was a little draughty near the door. The food was very good and appeared to be cooked on-site, as opposed to... More

We visit the Cambrian regularly when in Pembrokeshire and have never been disappointed. They have recently refurbished the premises which has been done tastefully. The staff have always been lovely and the food never fails - always cooked well and of a high quality - well worth the sometimes longish wait. The menu has something for everyone including children. There... More

The varied menu contains a section of fat burgers. I had the vegetarian one which was delicious-and very fat. The homemade coleslaw is light and the thrice cooked chips very good. The lemon tart that followed was alright but was enhanced by a tart lemon sorbet. The owners have extensively refurbished the Cambrian and it is an extremely pleasant pub... More

Came on a Sunday as I really craved a Sunday dinner and still haven't found anywhere good locally. We booked a table for 1.45. We were seated promptly and our drinks and orders taken quickly. We both had starters which was a huge mistake - not because there were horrible, but the opposite. They were delicious my partner had the... More
