Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Not a friendly welcome, staff couldn’t care less attitude although one did seem to cheer up. Couldn’t order food to start with as problem in kitchen. Then ordered fish & chips, no chips, only fries. The fish was very dry as it came out very...quickly I wondered if it had just been reheated. Wouldn’t bother again, glad we had 30% off voucher.More

As always good food and drink which, when coupled with the excellent service from Stacey and the crew, made for a very satisfactory visit.

Lovely spot for a pub lunch. We have a nut allergy to deal with, and felt very looked after. Everyone was very friendly, and the food was good pub food (which is exactly what we were after).

Dreadful. Food awful. Waited one hour and twenty minutes and starters were delivered. Tasteless microwaved mushrooms in breadcrumbs served in a cast iron tin. Leek and potato soup was watery tasteless gruel. Curry was tasteless with microwaved rice. The restaurant was so cold wind blowing...through. I cannot believe people left four star reviews. Must have gone to a different harbour inn. Go to Sloop Inn, Porthgain or St Bishops in St David’s.More
