Is any pub worth a half mile walk across a golf course? Yes, definitely. We had read about the Ty Coch and had high expectations. They were exceeded. The views are fantastic, the décor is sublime. And yes it serves good beer and basic pub grub.

What a great place, we walked along the beach and had a beer outside while looking at the stunning views. Really can't fault the location, not sure what the food is like but the beer was great 😃

A late afternoon stroll along the headland from nearby Morfa Nefyn brings you to this hidden gem of a pub down on the beach looking toward Yr Eifl. Excellent range of ales, friendly bar staff and a warm atmosphere make this well worth the trouble to visit and enjoy a beer as the sun goes down. Sadly we were too... More

Idyllic location, views to die for and a decent pint... what more could you want? Parked at the national trust car park along the beach and walked along to the pub, then back through the golf course (easier route than the beach which involved negotiating some fairly slippery rocks).

This was our second visit this year February and October and several times each week. The view is fantastic the food is plentiful and hearty. This place has much going for it especially location but the laid back vibe no chips no buggies and pet friendly make it an attractive place for folks to enjoy their free time and indulge... More

Walked over from Nefyn at lunchtime. While you can't beat its location and beer on a beach the beer itself was disappointing ( no local beers just their own beer (??) brewed by Marstons and Hobgoblin Gold) and only in average condition - may just have been unlucky on the choice! Food looked ok but expensive for what it was

Had the Brie and chutney wheel, I think I actually died and went to heaven. Food is obviously all quick and easy to make which causes short waiting times. Beautiful location which has caused me and my friends to become visitors every time we visit Abersoch. Fresh food and good choice in alcohol, ignore the haters.

We visited whilst on holiday and we're disappointed as the reviews for this place are good. Staff were unwelcoming and bordering on rude and the whole pub was freezing cold - everyone was sat eating lunch with their coats on! The food was reasonably good, but wouldn't go back.

We walked the beach several times during our stay in Morfa Nefyn and had a few drinks at the Ty Coch. A good choice of drinks. A great little pub with a good atmosphere and plenty of places to sit. The staff were helpful and friendly and the food looked good too. Well worth a visit after a walk on... More
