We shared a starter of cold meats as they looked quite large. Then we had the liver, bacon and potato and the fish dish, both perfect The desserts were again superb

We had a really nice meal from a nicely balanced menu, with special dishes of the day as well. The food was well prepared and presented by courteous and friendly staff. Great food, service and a nice wine, all for a reasonable price.

My wife and I were spending a few days in a nearby hotel and this was recommended as a place to eat. It's a picture book English Pub in glorious surroundings. We were there in mid June 2017 in the middle of a heat wave...More

A pint of coke is £3.00 Super venue and super atmosphere. Food was expensive for what it was and my companion found his seafood burger lacking in flavour. A good try, however. Staff cannot be faulted.

Family visit five covers. Beautiful planters and other garden colour with lawns. Sat in sun outside and enjoyed the weather and planting. Food and service were excellent staff very attentive with second order drinks collected from table. Table cleared promptly after food finished.

Good morning Tracey, Blackboys is a very small village with just a pub, school and local cafe. We are a 10 minute car journey away from Uckfield which is a town with shops, restaurants and pubs. Hope this helps.
