I feel sick today that the staff mixed my order up and as a vegetarian gave me a fish cake instead of a cheese pattie. It was still hard to differentiate the fish as the fish cake was pretty tasteless. I feel sick that I've been a vegetarian for 30 years and now taken a bite of fish through no... More

Delicious cod and chips on both visits. Cooked to order. Friendly greeting. Good size portion and value.

Visited today and bought cod and chips twice. The fish was of poor quality and tasted like it was bought from Iceland. The so-called large portion of chips cost £2.20 and maybe contained 30 chips. I asked to put my own salt and vinegar on and was told "No!" By the girl serving who then proceeded to drown it in... More

Fish was skinned, option of gluten free but fish was microwaved and not battered portions were reasonable, a bit rough and ready seating outside.

We visited here over the weekend. The food was delicious but we were disappointed with the time we waited to be served our food. We waited nearly 20 minutes after ordering for our food. The cafe was shut but the door was open and we were turned away when we just about to sit down.

I visited here today with my husband, daughter and mam. I ordered a spam fritter and chips, my husband ordered haddock and chips, my daughter had cod bites and chips and my mam had cheese patty and chips. It came to just over £26. This included 3 cans of pop and a cup of tea. My chips were cooked to... More

Best fish and chips in the north east. I Travel 35 miles to get there and I'm never disappointed. Staff are very friendly and always ask if everything is ok.

We have been to this chippy several before on a Tuesday and it's worth the half hour drive for the really good fish and chips served. As well as the quality of the food, the front of house cleanliness was outstanding. There's nothing nicer than eating a freshly cooked meal outside although we usually drive up towards Warkworth and stop... More

Was in on Thursday and this is the first time I have left a review but been many times before. Without a doubt the best fish and chips I've had in 10 years. Perfect to take the family with very friendly and helpful staff. Look forward to visiting again soon.
