We have passed this wee tearoom many times and have always been promising ourselves to drop in and see what's on offer. And we were not disappointed when we finally dropped in for a late lunch. Looking out through the conservatory to the garden there was an interesting menu, excellent friendly service and great food. It won't be long before... More

Dropped in on a Sunday .Pleasant wee place seems busy then of course only the coffee shop disaster at the windfarm to compete with .Prices so/so not a great deal of tea for your money food fair enough . Staff helpful & attentive . Think they could offer better value on the rather basic menu

We were a four generational party of 8 for afternoon tea on Mother!s Day. I have had a number of afternoon teas in various locations but for me this was the best. Why? The freshness of the sandwiches, the delicious fresh scones, the look of the meringues and the bite size empire biscuits. Then there was the plentifulness of the... More

we were a large party of 7, having a mixture of breakfast and lunch late morning. I think between us we sampled about half the menu. It was all delicious. The staff were all lovely, and looked after us all very well. We will definitely be back when in the area.

A nice old fashioned wee tearoom. Ordered soup which was nice but for £4 odd I'd have hoped for a bigger bowl. Service was fine, but didn't really appreciate being asked if I wanted my change when I paid the bill.

I have been visiting this establishment for a good few years now. The savoury and sweet stuff is amazing, the kitchen staff work so hard which is clear to see. The service from the kitchen is excellent and contrary to some reviewers, who I feel have been a bit unfair re the decor, carpets etc....which I feel is fitting with... More

If you take the time to come off the M77 and come this wonderful tea-room in a beautiful village it will be time well spent. My 91 year old mother and I were given a warm welcome by all staff and felt completely at home. The tea and scone were delicious. Other diners had opted for an afternoon tea package... More

I have been visiting the Wishing Well for over 30 years and never been disappointed. It has changed hands over the years but never changed the quality of food or service. An excellent venue for coffee and cake or for a delicious lunch. Everything is fresh and of the highest quality and all served with a smile.
