Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Rarely seen fritters that greasy, they were basically a big lump of fat with some conch pieces here and there. Conch salad wasn't better, not because it was fat but because it seemed like they poured lemon juice all over it before serving it. Conch...was also rather chewy too by the way. Price quite outrageous and service uninterested at most. I now see why this place has got tons of negative reviews lately.More

We waited forever for the food to come out, so we had a few beers and drinks. The beers were barely cold and the drinks were basically Kool-aid with not much alcohol. When the food came out, it was cold and the conch was very...tough. The wife ordered chicken tenders that did not even taste like chicken and was cold also. We ended up sending them back along with the drinks. We asked for water instead. They brought out a quart bottle with 4 cups. The bill ended being $110 and we were charged $12 for the bottle of water! The service was terrible to say the least, but the waitress did not care because the gratuity was 21%! Ridiculous!More

Great Bahamian food in a casual atmosphere. It is right on the water and the staff is super friendly.

Got there for dinner, the place was empty and asked if I could sit anywhere I liked. I got no reply from the lady behind the counter as she kept playing with her phone and after a good 15/20 seconds I left.

Stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a go as both my kids were hungry and couldn't wait anymore. Food was just standard at most (sub-par actually if I wanted to be honest) and it was expensive even for the notoriously high standards...of the Bahamas. What totally ruined the lunch though was a verbal fight between two female employees (both wearing the green polo) who decided to exchange insults in front of my family including two young kids (we were the only customers). It didn't last for long thankfully but they sure were 30/40 incredibly unpleasant seconds. Had never experienced anything like this in the Bahamas were people are notoriously extremely laid back and friendly.More

Got there, dared to say "good afternoon" to the lady working at the counter. For this reason I was refused to be seated as my "attitude stinks" - that's exactly what I was told amongst other things like "not today" and a few more I...couldn't understand. From my TA activity you can see I am not a serial complainer nor a troll. I know you will struggle to believe me but I swear on my kids' life that that is exactly what happened. I was utterly appalled. If I'll ever go back I will make sure to greet everyone with a "wassup b***es" in order to be welcomed and fed.More

We were in need of a break from the formal dinners, and Queen Conch came highly recommended. (King Conch recently shuttered, so there was no debate.) It’s extremely casual and sits right on the water. You can see the discarded shells from the fresh conch....Get there before 5 for the conch salad (ceviche), and don’t skip the conch fritters.More

It took over two hours to get our food and get out of there. Incredibly long wait times. They only had one cook in the back and one server for the entire restaurant. Bad experience.

This restaurant is a must for anyone visiting Harbour Island for both its view and fresh conch ceviche/salad! We tried both kinds of conch salad. Big fans of both but if there is a favourite, it would be the Exotic salad which is incredibly fresh...and tasty! Great relaxed atmosphere to be by the water and have a beer. They take credit card which was great. Highly recommended!More

I don’t do raw seafood but heard they had an incredible conch salad so I came. Got the conch salad and some stone crab claws. Both were incredible. A great stop for a snack and a Kalik. They have a nice sitting area on the...water and you can watch them harvest the fresh conch on site.More
