Often visit her with my family, can’t go wrong with the lovely homemade pub grub! The steak pie is to die for and the meals are all so reasonably priced! Defiantly worth a visit if you are visiting the area.

If you’re a fan of classics Toby jugs, colourful teapots and feeling like you’ve interrupted somebody’s living room while they’re deep into a crossword, this is the pub for you. Unless of course, you’re thirty or hungry after 2pm. The menu is extensive and full...More

Quality home cooked style British food. Our pies were excellent and worth the slow barge down from Wrenbury Mill. Great portions of lovely grub. Nice canalside location and good service. Dog friendly. Nice!

Great spot on canal and pleasant service. Wasn't expecting bistro style or posh nosh although did expect decent pub grub. Standard to say the least. The gravy needed slicing... :) The kitchen person misread order and didn't seem best pleased to put it right. Great...More

Interesting as 4 generations of females run it! The food was very typically bar food but portions were generous and nicely presented. The only thing I wasn't so keen on as there was a campsite next door the pub made dogs welcome....there was at least...More
