Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was our second visit here and the food was as good as ever. I had a steak and onion ciabatta and the steak was very tender. The accompanying salad and chips were good too. My fried had a chicken, bacon and avocado salad which...looked amazing. Service was friendly and prompt. Definitely coming again. Please note that there is an ample car park just a few feet down the road from the pub itself. A pub sign highlights where it is so it's easy to find.More

We had the Chicken for 4 people on a Sunday afternoon, the food that appeared on the wooden board looked amazing and it was lovely and tasted good, we did not leave much. For 39 pounds for 4 it was a good price. I would...recommend it. 😊More

A short walk from the generous car park to this village inn, in winter a fire flickering in the bar area enhances the warm welcome from Tom and the bar staff. Tables are comfortably spaced and busy enough to provide a convivial atmosphere. The menu...has good range of options with enough favourites to make this a regular drop in. The food is well presented providing generous portions at sensible prices. The service is pleasantly attentive and friendly making for a relaxing break.More
