As a Coeliac I struggle in most restaurants to find something to eat, the choices are usually limited and very dull. Not so at the George, the menu is as good as their main menu, only slightly less choice but equally well thought out and...More

We went on a late afternoon on a bank holiday weekend and had an early dinner outside. The patio area is lovely and very cleverly laid out allowing you to be a little secluded from other tables. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food...More

Looks good from the outside just the same inside. Menu has very good variety for both adults and kids . Not over the top and complicated but subtle changes making for very fine meals. Staff friendly and happy prices affordable.

We arrived tired a out of sorts. IN no time the cheerful Australian waitress had us smiling and looking forward to a delicious meal. Food preferences? no problem. Menu combining? No problem. The coffee is great too which for tired and weary travelers is a...More

I was fortunate enough to have tea at the George on a glorious sunny English day. The outdoor area is one that caters for all customers with a good atmosphere for big groups as well as solo customers. When it came time to order I...More
