We were fortunate to have won the draw for loyal members. The King’s Head kindly allowed us to use our voucher for a Valentine’s meal. The King’s Head oozes class and perfection. Every attention to detail is covered, from the moment one walks through the...More

This is a nice pub in a pretty village near the Beacon. Our food was very good and service swift. But it’s a shame the kitchen closes at 2pm on a Saturday meaning we had to hurry on the walk.

Food was lovely service was a joke. Wouldn’t recommend. Had to ask for drinks and water. No one asked how the meal was. Waiters didn’t know if they were coming or going. Was laughable like something out of faulty towers. No effort made at all.

Went for dinner. This is a very busy restaurant and the food is second to none. The bar staff brought dips to the table with pre dinner drinks - a nice touch. The pate starter was delicious, followed by equally delicious crispy duck. The dessert...More
