I thought the wheatsheaf was bad but this is even worse - lager was off apart from kronenburg inhabited by locals with dogs on ropes - no shirts necessary or probaly owned- childrens area ok but swearing from locals very offputting. bar maid totally disinterested...More

We had a meal in here on our last day and it was like going back in time with old peoples food thats ok we are old!! Price was good food was edible.

We ate here on a Sunday lunchtime and had the carvery. The meat portions were generous and the vegetables were good. Overall the food was really good and great value. We will definitely return.

Popped into the Plough for a late Saturday lunch, Service was good, Food was also good and at a very decent price. £7.25 for three courses is pretty good.

Yes very dog friendly, in there last weekend with 3 dogs between us in the bar-obviously not in the restaurant part.
