We go here quite often as it offers a quaint playground for the kids and really tasty food. Get past the first impressions of the bar area and it's a fantastic family pub/restaurant!

Genuinely nice place that mingles locals and visitors alike, received a very friendly "bonjour" as soon as I arrived prior to check in at Seaview, popped in - well stayed a while - on each day of my trip, cannot recommend highly enough, staff are absolute diamonds that do a great job in making all feel welcome. See you soon... More

Looking for somewhere to meet up with some far flung cousins who were visiting this area, we booked an evening meal here at the Plough. On arrival it looked like a real pub, but when we sat at our table in the restaurant behind, we were pleasantly surprised. It was spacious and the tables well spaced. The waitress was pleasant, efficient... More

We booked as they get very busy for Sunday lunch, arriving at 2.30pm. The seating area inside and out is reasonable, with good play facilities for young children. We all had the carvery. The turkey was a fresh crown, so very tender. The other meat had been heated/rested too long, and was a bit overdone. The veg were reasonable. The... More

We were starving & too tired to cook after a late night the night before, stopped by the Plough and what a bargain, 2 courses for less than £7 each! The garlic mushrooms were so tasty, the fish & chips were gorgeous & we left totally stuffed, no room for dessert!!!! Friendly staff, lovely bright & sunny restaurant, plenty of... More

Just moved into the area and came here early one Saturday evening with a couple of friends for drinks. Very friendly staff, nice and cosy in the bar and what looks like a nice restaurant and menu. They also say they are dog friendly so will make this our new local even though we don't go out that often! Next... More

We popped in for a sharpener before dinner and decided to stay. Although we didn't fancy everything on the menu. What we did order was great. Prices were reasonable - £5 or less for a starter and an average of £8 for a main. Service was excellent. A word of warning. The portion sizes are huge!

Excellent friendly service from all the staff. Great local pub atmosphere. The twice cooked pork belly is the best I have had. Prices are reasonable. Also a good secure play area for kids.

A pleasant welcome for two chaps wanting a lunchtime pie and a pint of real ale. In, out and well catered for in 45 minutes or so including a quick game of pool. The Plough is quite a big pub but was quiet today. I've been before and know it can get busy with big bookings and I also know... More
