Why is it that people who did not dine at The Dog in a Doublet are putting damning reviews on ? This site is for personal experience and asks whether or not it is factual! I know for a fact that the Christmas diner was amazing as I PERSONALLY ate it! The Christmas period is physically, mentally and emotionally draining for all restaurateurs and their staff and Trip Adviser need to action these comments and blocks these people accounts and they should be lucky that they don’t get sued for slander! The picture that someone posted is not : 1) from the Dog in a Doublet as it is not there plate, cutlery or table cloth for a start!! 2) it may be that I am more educated than some and had more culinary experiences that them, but I have eaten salmon at several restaurants across the world and never had a sloppy and soggy skin on my salmon! As long as it is still moist and pink on the inside, a crispy and/or dark skin is not an issue as I don’t eat the skin !! Can these FALSE reviews please be removed and these peoples accounts be blocked until their findings proved ?
