Bought two Portuguese custard tarts and one sausage roll to take out. They were all superb....the pastry in particular was melt in the mouth delicious. The Portuguese tarts were as good as any we had in Portugal, if not even better!!

We were a large group with a 10 month old baby, the staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating, the coffee and cakes were sublime. A lovely experience.

Bought two doughnuts from here today. Quite simply they were the best doughnuts we have ever eaten. My husband's comment when he took one from the bag was, "This is how doughnuts used to be!" Light as a feather, bursting with generous amounts of rhubarb jam,(inspirational!). Thank you!

One of the great things about exploring Suffolk is that it has lots of gems for foodies. Pump St is a blend of London meets Suffolk - lovely place, blink and you could miss it the other customers give it away! yet the quality and some might say prices are excellent. Try the Portuguese custard pie - you will not... More

Even in the winter we go over at weekends to eat there - usually outdoors! All the baked goods are fabulous but it does sell out really quickly. Coffee is great and they are so helpful that they strained the bits out of my partners oj! Limited space inside and you have to share a table and parking is very... More

We loved our bacon sandwiches, good service, not too busy today. Bought cakes to take away and sour dough bread plus chocolate for Xmas presents. Would have bought the chocolate panettone if it had been ready, maybe an excuse for another trip!!
