We loved our bacon sandwiches, good service, not too busy today. Bought cakes to take away and sour dough bread plus chocolate for Xmas presents. Would have bought the chocolate panettone if it had been ready, maybe an excuse for another trip!!

We stopped here for breakfast on a beautiful sunny sunday at the end of November. We sat outside and had a mixture between us, cakes, bacon sandwiches and avocado on toast. All were fantastic. This place does the most amazing cakes and bread to take away too. Ohh and the hot chocolate was great.

After a 6 mile walk around the coastline and the weather about to turn , we were very happy to sit down with tea for two and some eccles cakes - Oh My! So delicious..... I'm glad I don't live too close or I could get addicted. The rest of the pastries, pies and breads also looked lovely. Will be... More

We had breakfast here and it was great. The food was delicious. We had french toast with banana, maple syrup and bacon - my favourite. Other peoples' breakfasts looked really good too. Lots of regulars were there too who were chatty and the atmosphere was very friendly. We bought sandwiches for lunch which were very good and Eccles cakes and... More

We entered to find a cabinet laden with sumptuous baked goods of all descriptions, as if from a fairy tale. What to choose? A cinnamon roll as big as your face, a bear claw of feathery pastry stuffed with almond paste, a palmier of the whispiest consistency? We opted for all of these and each had its charms.

It is a very popular place to buy gorgeous bread and cakes. Had celeriac soup with walnuts and parsley and sourdough bread. Delicious. Very tasty but not a place if you want quick service.

A nice bakery / cafe / light luncheon for sure with full marks for the food and drink served. But felt it's just too expensive which was a real shame. There is however little competition in what is a truly gorgeous village. Great produce and friendly staff, but prices pushed a little too far.

Lovely place to have tea and cake/pastry. We arrived around 2.30 and there wasn't a slice of cake in sight howeve my husband had an Eccles cake and I had a pastry which was pleasant though not overly tasty. We've been here before in the summer and sat outside. Not that we had lunch there but it seems a shame... More

Recently went to Suffolk, England to visit family and friends, spent the day in Orford and was so delighted to go into this BEAUTIFUL little bakery! Wish we would of bought more! Did not enjoy our recent visit. Very noisy/ and seating squashed. Have not changed menu from a year ago.
