This restaurant is a little slice of heaven. It's located on a busy street with little to no parking, but the restaurant has marked off an area right in front of the restaurant where they let you park. Then you walk inside. This place is gorgeous. The restaurant part is in a courtyard, past the front bar, etc. Beautifully set... More

Giovani was our server and he helped us practice our Spanish but his English was very good. My wife and I ordered exclusively from his recommendations. Starting with cocktails which were originals to Tres Virgenes, the Margarita Cortez was delicious with a rather spicy zing. The appetizer was the tuna tostada. It was so good that my wife wanted to... More

We liked Las Tres Virgenes, but found the wine list poor (could not get a bottle of Pinot Grigio and the selection of red wine was dismal as well - unless you like Mexican wine. There is a nice outdoor fire pit (off to the side) and the outdoor area has cloth draped down for coverage. The food was pretty... More

As others have said, this neighborhood restaurant a few blocks off the Malecon, has an excellent courtyard and good food. With the wood grill going a few feet away I went for the Kansas City BBQ ribs and was not dissapointed. My wife went for thebacon wrapped crab stuffed shrimp and was not overly impressed. So, maybe stick with the... More

Atmosphere and service and food were all very good. The restaurant is located in downtown La Paz and is easily accessible. The outdoor courtyard dining area is intimate and has a small wood burning oven. All four of us had different dishes, which were all good. The service was attentive and pleasant and even though the waiter did not speak... More

We arrived without a reservation and the lovely courtyard dining area was full. The staff created a table for us in the former sala of this old mansion! The service was excellent, and the drinks and food were outstanding. They brought a birthday flan to my husband and joined us in singing to him.

We were 3 for dinner with a reservation. When we were ready to order, our waiter to proceeded to tell us which items were not available... it added up to 1/4 of the menu (no pastas, 2 appies, 4 other dishes - incuding arrachera. We ordered around these items. Hubby had a piccada, which he said was good and not... More

Ate dinner here with my parents and sister following an afternoon of walking around the city. Our server, Orlando, was attentive and knowledgable. The setting is what I love about nice restaurants in Mexico- the cement facade on the street that totally disguises the lovely interior with outdoor patio dining hidden inside. There is also a bar right as you... More

Definitely coming back every time I'm in La Paz, the Food is wonderful. Do not miss the YELOWTAIL TUNA TOSTADAS, they are magnificent. The fish tacos are also amazing and the meat is very very good.
