Weve eaten here several times most often it's good, have had a few so so experiences. Mostly it's the ambiance, the owner is very friendly and they make your salsa right at your table

This is very interesting place; you have a wood cabin atmosphere with a very nice menu listing. Many traditional Mexican plates and very good meat. Salad is great, it is included in the Entree and is like a salad bar at your table. Everything is fresh with hand made tortillas made right at the spot. Highly recommend it if you... More

I think the title says it all. This is a true steak house here in Rosarito! The filet mignon was so tender and juicy cooked medium rare. The steak came with Baked potatoe and salad bar and all the chips and salsa you want. The crew there is really on top of things to say the least, they really cater... More

We were in the area looking for a vacation home to purchase and thought we would give Tapanco a try for dinner. We had breakfast earlier at their sister location El Nido and it was really good. Tapanco was outstanding good tasting good and well prepared. My mistake, I ended up with two entrees. I thought I was ordering calamari... More

So we looked this place up in the top 10 list for Rosarito This place was just ok. No real choices for people that... More

Food, service and drinks are great. We come here very often and loved it. They have homemade tortillas, salsa and guacamole.

We ended up having lunch here because we were in the neighborhood with some extra time, and hungry. We hadn't really planned to eat out that day, so I didn't come with heightened expectations and for that I'm glad. We enjoyed our food (Mexican Combination plates) and found it charming that the woman making tortillas was right next to us.... More

First time to Tapanco and overall an average dining experience. Our group chose steak platters and the consensus was the plates were good but nothing overly impressive. Service was good but at times wavered due to a few large parties in the main dining room. Did enjoy the salsa hand made table side. Would like to give Tapanco one more... More
