First time to Tapanco and overall an average dining experience. Our group chose steak platters and the consensus was the plates were good but nothing overly impressive. Service was good but at times wavered due to a few large parties in the main dining room. Did enjoy the salsa hand made table side. Would like to give Tapanco one more... More

Grear service and atmosphere. Venison burrito was excellent, tamale not so good. I Strongly recommend. For this area it is outstanding .

First time at Tapanco restaurant. Food was average nothing special. We asked to be seated by the fountain but couldn't be accommodated so we sat by the entrance where it was dark and cold. I ordered a seafood combo which I regretted because my wife's filet mignon was much better. The baked potatoes all were dry (we were a party... More

What a beautiful and cozy restaurant, its waiters attentive and fast and Doña Josefina making the most delicious tortillas in front of you and everything is a pleasure that we all deserve one day in life.

Adorable and delicious restaurant near Rosarito Beach in Baja California. Had wonderful quail and lamb chop dinner. Don't miss the fried cheese appetizer. They make fresh salsa at the table and deliver a salad bar to you. We ate everything. Wonderful prices and wonderful quality. Can't wait to go back. Loved it so much for dinner we went the next... We were hungry one night and on our way back to our hotel in Puerto Nuevo and had decided we were going to stop at Tapanco. I wasn't sure what to expect as my husband just said it was a steak house. We started out with calamari and my mom who doesn't love calamari even said it was delicious. The... More

A good traditional restaurant that severs up grilled specialties in a old ranch style setting. One of the last places where you can eat game meats (ie. Venison, Beef, Quails & Lamb) cooked over a live mesquite fire! Unfortunately, for the prices they are charging the the cuts of meat are very small especially the Venison.

Our third time at Tapanco. The ambiance and service are fine. We especially like sitting in the garden. The interior decorations of the main restaurant are interesting, but fussy. On our most recent visit we brought a party of five, and ordered a variety of dishes. The best part of the dinner was the salsa, mixed fresh at the table.The... More

Well late breakfast, anyhow. Both my husband and I got the eggs with chorizo, he had a beer and I got an orange juice. We were out the door for $16. It was great food. The handmade tortillas were out of this world. The ambience and decor were authentic. I loved that this place wasn't in the heart of the... More
