One of the first sit down restaurants we ate in as we worked our way down the Baja. Dining was al fresco. Food was super fresh and tasted like the ocean. Rustic and charming. Service was attentive. I would go here over the street food available.

Good Mexican food- if you want to stay away from street food, which is the trend here. Recommend coconut prawns. The best Pina Colada in town, guaranteed! Decor not up to European standard, & service leaves alot to be desired. But choice in town is really limited.

We love this place. The staff is always friendly and the food is fantastic. We've eaten here many times and have never had a bad experience. Everything here is always fresh and beautifully presented. One of my favorites is the Shrimp Stuffed Peppers Appetizer...so delicous! I've eaten the Coconut Shrimp here and they are perfectly cooked with just the right... More

Went with friends on a Friday night as we knew that there would be live music - "Sons of Beaches" were the band. Denny plays a mean keyboard while Phillip makes his sax howl, really enjoyed their version of Eddie and the Cruisers. Shared some great guacamole with homemade tortilla chips and clams in buttered wine. Good and friendly service.

La Vaquita is one of my regular favorite places to eat in San Felipe. Their fish entrees are all gorgeously prepared and not only wonderful to look at but wonderful to eat! They have also opened up another La Vaquita in the Playa del Oro community, which is North of the town of San Felipe by about 8 miles. It... More

We had excellent service! The food is pretty darn good, too. It's more upscale than some other restaurants on the Malecon. The only thing I didn't like was the main dining area that has the most atmosphere was unbearably hot, and the small room with AC was freezing and the lights were too bright.

The housekeeper from the house we rented in LA hacienda recommended this restaurant. We were not disappointed at all. There was a small air conditioned dining room that we were greatful for on the 113 degree day we were visiting. We had the seafood stuffed peppers, the shrimp kiki, 3 other types of shrimp and the volcano. With 2 rounds... More

With all the great fresh seafood in San Felipe, the last place to eat might me The Vaquita. Having been a local jn San Felipe for many years, I can tell you from personal expereince, the owner is so rude he actually insults his customers on the street or at a local juice bar or on the beach. Over priced... More

Good food most times & service is good but slow. Do not go real often, is too loud when they have music.
