This is where it all began--the spark that started the cultural revolution in food in Tijuana after the drug wars. This is fine dining at it's best in Tijuana, and Mision 19 sets the standard. Chef Javier Plascencia is an icon in the Baja restaurant scene and his influence stretches from teh border down to Ensenada which his many diverse... More

food isnt as spectacular as you think, service slow and prices are high, personally had better options in town to eat.

Service is good, except for the knowledge of the dishes we inquired about, he read off the menu...we'd already done that. Bread is delicious. The food was very good, quality is consistent with the chef's other restaurants we've visited. Unfortunately can't say the food is deliciously outstanding, only very good.

We had a great dinner (filet mignon and sea bass), perfectly cooked. La Cetto wine blend was amazing. Chocolate served 3 ways for dessert was a perfected ending.

I visited this restaurant with 2 other friends and the place is interesting but not worth the place of a "great food" or "beautiful place". It is just an average place. I may come back, but it is not in my preferred list of "must" return.

We came with friends and they took care of the reservation. We were a few minutes early and they took us in right away. The menu comes in English and Spanish. They do... More

I think the best baja med restaurant in the city, food it is delicious very original dishes very gourmet and it is a very elegant fusion between Mexican and Mediterranean style food , you would definitely love this place. The wine list it is amazing specially because they have a lot of baja california regional wines which are awesome .

The food presentation is gorgeous. The portions are small. I felt like I had to go elsewhere to fill up my tummy
