Not for kids or families on vacation. This is for romantic dinners and impressing the clients or your date. Extensive wine list and cocktails. Dishes are done for art, not for filling up or gorging. Portions are small, sauces are given for taste and drizzled on sparingly. Your plate will look like a piece of art. Taste is good. Drinks... More

Our Mexican Chef has done a great job creating and innovating the menu. It is recognized a change for good in the menu and the new Chef is doing a great job. I highly recommend to let the chef bring the marriage to your table, good selection of wines and very nice place to enjoy lunch or dinner. Business or... More

This restaurant is amazing in so many ways. One of the best I've ever been to. The atmosphere, service and food is top notch. Teresa our waitress was incredibly kind and really knowledgeable about all the dishes. Mission 19 is great for big groups or romantic dates. We ordered the fried oysters (my favorite), grilled octopus, pork belly clam chowder,... More

This is where it all began--the spark that started the cultural revolution in food in Tijuana after the drug wars. This is fine dining at it's best in Tijuana, and Mision 19 sets the standard. Chef Javier Plascencia is an icon in the Baja restaurant scene and his influence stretches from teh border down to Ensenada which his many diverse... More

food isnt as spectacular as you think, service slow and prices are high, personally had better options in town to eat.

Service is good, except for the knowledge of the dishes we inquired about, he read off the menu...we'd already done that. Bread is delicious. The food was very good, quality is consistent with the chef's other restaurants we've visited. Unfortunately can't say the food is deliciously outstanding, only very good.

We had a great dinner (filet mignon and sea bass), perfectly cooked. La Cetto wine blend was amazing. Chocolate served 3 ways for dessert was a perfected ending.

I visited this restaurant with 2 other friends and the place is interesting but not worth the place of a "great food" or "beautiful place". It is just an average place. I may come back, but it is not in my preferred list of "must" return.

Thank Almendra1
