I used to own a villa in acapulco for over 25 year's and every night I would go to this place for a nightcap or two very relaxing and quite the view. A must place to try if you're in acapulco.

Hotel Los Flamingos, this is the restaurant that time forgot. You're on top of the hill, looking out on a breathtaking view of the ocean from high above, with ancient waiters who've worked there since they were teenagers. It's a living history lesson. Hotel Los Flamingos was the former private hideaway resort of the "Hollywood Gang" led by John Wayne... More

The hotel and restaurant has one of the best locations in all of Acapulco. Not surprising given that it was originally developed and owned back in the golden age of Hollywood when Acapulco was a lot sleepier. Yes, it could do with a little work, but the place is still magical for anyone with even a passing interest in that... More

Squeezed in as part of a tour there was only time for a mooch around and a quick drink. The atmosphere just oozed old fashioned decadence and the views were nothing short of spectacular. One of those place that you must return for a longer stay, though facility wise it no longer competes with the smart hotels of the Diamond... More

O.k.- it's quite old, but when you visit the LOS FLAMINGO's restaurant you enter a world of the past when those famous Hollywood actors of the last century spent their time and money at that hideaway. The view of the Pacific Ocean from the table where Johnny Weismüller, its former owner, supposedly used to have his breakfast is breathtaking. Have... More

The reason you come here is to walk the "hall of fame" at Los Flamingos, remembering that this was the "in place" for Hollywood stars 80-85 years ago. The views are still beautiful, but the drinks are expensive.

Restaurant is nice with open view of sea. The meals are expensive. But there are no options nearby. If you want to eat out you have to climb down the hill.

Beautiful drink, beautiful location. This place originated the CocoLoco for John Wayne! You can still get the same drink. Beautiful place we never would have found without Sebastian! Watched the cliff divers afterward. Very memorable experience.

Didn't stay here, but walked around to check out the view and the movie memorabilia and had a coco loco at the bar overlooking the ocean... This us a quick stop.. And hour or less, but worth it... Fun because it helps you imaging back The days when Acapulco was a destination for stars like Elvis and John Wayne....watch "fun... More
