The place was amazing, best food we had in Huatulco hands down, the service was a bit slow but was worth it, we ordered the Parrillada which had the best food this restaurant had to offer, staff was very kind and atmosphere is great.

The concierge at Secrets Huatulco recommended we visit El Sabor for some authentic local food while in La Crucecita. Excellent recommendation! We had their Oaxaca sampler plate, beer, and margaritas. It is very close to the city center plaza, in a very safe area. The employees were very kind and helpful while we where there.

We ordered some octopus and a meat grill for lunch at El Sabor de Oaxaca. The restaurant was empty but service was slow. In general, foods were fine. The grill come with some manitas which were very delicious. You have to try it (manitas de cerdo).

Great local food with excellent service. Clean and right on the Main Street into town for good viewing. Coldest beer in Huatulco!!

My boyfriend and I stopped in here for lunch as we were looking for a hotel in the area. The staff was very friendly. I ordered red mole, which I normally wouldn't do because I'm not a huge fan of mole, but how can you go to Oaxaca and not have mole at least once? I ordered the mole with... More

My husband and I enjoyed our dinner. The server spoke good English. The restaurant was nice clean, the food was good and the portions were a great size. The wine was a bit on the pricier side, $360 was the most affordable option. All in all a nice dinner out.

We were in Huatulco for three nights last week. We are happy to say that we ate two of our dinners here, which included yummy food from Oaxaca, served in a very professional way. We ordered the big Oaxaca dinner for two that turned out to be gigantic. We ordered something with grasshoppers and mole. The food was so fresh... More

Had breakfast here one morning, yummy enmoladas but missing a little spice. Went back in a group for dinner and had a delicious chorizo and cheese tlayuda. The highlight was the corn ice cream! Served frozen in the husk. Sweet and tasty! Tried some chapulines for good measure. Not sure I could eat a whole quesadilla of them but they... More

Great atmosphere and service and a good introduction to the regional specialties. Moderate prices. Mole was excellent but I have to say, I prefer the tlayudas at the local stands around town. Enjoy the restaurant if you are looking for a special dinner with a wide range of choices but a little exploring around town will deliver better quality local... More
