We've been to Los Zarapes many times over the years and have always enjoyed sitting outside. On Wednesday evening it was a little cool so we decided to eat inside and we probably will from now on. The ambience was perfect and at 7 p.m. Mexican time (7:50) a Mexican gentleman began singing and he was superb! He started out... More

We loved this place. My husband had goat which he enjoyed and I surprisingly enjoyed a T bone steak. Wanted a break from seafood. What a great surprise when a couple came out doing traditional Mexican dances in beautiful costumes and with their little son who was amazing. Also had a traditional Mexican singer. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening

We enjoyed a great dinner outside on the deck and ordered from the Early Bird menu. My bacon wrapped shrimp were excellent. They made a vegetarian mocajete for my son that he really enjoyed. Happy hour drinks were not fine. We will be back.

We visited as a group of 4 and found an early bird special menu. You have to ask for the early bird menu and there are 2 for one food and drinks on the early bird. The service was excellent, the food was also very good, and there was mexican dancing and a tenor singing for entertainment

We decided to try this restaurant, because frankly it was the only place NOT nagging us to enter it. My kids loved the decor when we enter, and we thought the menu was reasonable. What a wonderful surprise to realize they also offered entertainment after 7pm, my daughter was THRILLED with the traditional dancers, but we all found it to... More

Excellent food!! Staff was very friend, and the food was excellent. One of the waiters gave us a tour of the place, telling us the story of it, their owners, and we felt transported to 19th century Mexico. The atmosphere is very family friend, relaxing. Our eldest son loved the fact he got to ride the antique elevator they have... More

Checked out Los Zarapes which was a 5 minute taxi ride from Inn at Mazatlan along the main road. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor using a narrow set of stairs that winds around and up to the 2nd floor. I'm not sure if they have an elevator for those with mobility issue's. What a great place to eat.... More

We have always loved Los Zarapes. This time, the salsa made at our table was not good because the ingredients were undercooked and could not be mixed well. Our margaritas were weak and did not have good flavor. The mocajete was very good. The arracherra and chicken were perfect and the sauce was flavorful. The charros were very good with... More

At the waiter's suggestion, started with a huge mango margarita - yummy! The fresh salsa and tortilla chips are delicious with a drink. I had dorado with garlic and olive oil, my husband had surf and turf. All of it was wonderful. No room for dessert! Loved the decor, lively entertainment, and friendly staff. Will try to go again while... More
